The Chicago Blackhawks and net minder Scott darling has nothing to hang their head about except maybe giving up that short-handed goal to Ducks Devante Smith-Pelly midway through 3rd for a Ducks 1-0 "W"!

The Hawks hit Ducks net minder John Gibson with an onslaught 38 SOG including a healthy 18 in the 3rd and he mad stop after stop and not bad for a 21-year old in the Madhouse on Madison. Hawks net minder Scott Darling stopped 24 of 25 SOG and the one that got away was short-handed.

The Indian Head was 0-3 on the power play as the Ducks blocked some 18 shots and that is getting it done helping out your goal tender. Hawks Bryan Bickell, Brent Seabrook, and Jeremy Morin had four shots apiece as the Ducks did a nice job of being physical with the Indian Head hitting them at every chance.    

Hawks fall to 5-3-1 with 11 points tied for 2nd in the central. The Mighty Ducks move to 8-2 and 16 points as they lead the west and is tied with the Habs of Montreal for Ice Games 2014-15 best w-l thus far!
