Not all is well in Steelers Land and with that 31-10 beat down from the Dawg Pound still echoing through the Steelers Southside Facility the "Blame Game" has come full circle. Is is Todd Haley and the Offensive play-calling?  Is it Dick LeBeau's 3-4 zone blitz scheme done like that "Tampa 2"? And with all those defensive woes in the secondary now comes the Cortez Allen roasting...#HereWeGoSteelers in a bad way!

#BlackAndYellow Offensively 2014 under Haley

20.7 ppg (20th) 396.5 yds (6th) 259.2 pass yds (11th) 137.3 rush yds (5th)

The numbers are solid as they are top 11 in three of the four categories but 20th of 32 teams in the most important in the red zone.

It's not all on Haley as we need to get under that Microphone in Big Ben's Helmet as when he goes no-huddle he is making all the calls. Both Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown are monsters on the field and among the elite at their position so what is it? The O-Line needs to be better as the Steelers may have missed on players like David DeCastro and Marcus Gilbert.

Not worrying about anyone else's closet as the Steelers need to clean their own but look at the Dallas Cowboys 2014 success...it starts up front in the trenches with three 1st rounders in T. Frederick (Wisconsin), T. Smith (USC), and Z. Martin (Notre Dame). Remember HOF player and current Steelers O-Line coach Mike Muchak is coaching that group but a lot of that production has top be on the players.

#BlackAndYellow Defensively 2014 under LeBeau

23.2 ppg (19th) 337 yds (12th) 225.8 pass yds (10th) 111.2 rush yds (14th)

The 3-4 zone blitz is predicated on three key elements. One is stopping the run. Secondly its getting not necessarily home to the QB put hurries and pressures to the pocket which in turn creates bad throws and throwing when WR's are not ready. Lastly it's keeping those two inside backers clean to do what they do whether it's that Zone Dawg middle blitz or in coverage and even hunting the RB when teams run through the a-gap.

The Steelers are not winning up front and when you watch games the line on both sides of the Wilson pigskin is leaking on offense (Big Ben sacked 17 times). That D-Line is not getting home or stopping the run. In our hay day with the Aaron Smith's and Casey Hampton's up front teams would average high 70s in the run which was 1st against the run. Then they were passing around 190 yards on an average which was top 4 vs the pass as that line was getting home all the time which in turns also gives you high probability in you favor for Turnovers. Steelers haven't had a + turnover margin since 2010.

As for CB Cortez Allen getting benched they already paid as it's a wake-up call for him. Colbert and the Steelers better hope they didn't pull another Lamaar Woodley as it might be too late. CB Brice McCain will get the start vs his former team who drafted him back in 2011 the Houston Texans in the 6th round.

The Steelers go prime time Monday Night in one of three straight at Heinz Field. DT/DL/DE/LB/CB/S  JJ Watt will be in town and no he doesn't play all those positions but when you watch the tape the Texans Defense looks like they are all wearing the #99 jersey!

360 Degrees: Rook ILB Ryan Shazier is close to getting back and OLB Jarvis Jones is out through November  and those were two players that Steelers "D" sorely misses!

Note: Numbers do not lie and that is the proof in the pudding!
