The Washington Redskins Kirk Cousins science project has gave way to the Colt McCoy science project. It's only fitting that McCoy gets his 1st start of 2014 back home in the state of Texas as he is the winningest Longhorn QB ever! All that moving forward means a hill of Hormel Chili with beans as the Cowboys are 6-1 and looking towards bigger and better things than playing the 'Skins not taking shots...or was that a shot?

The Cowboys at 6-1 running on all cylinders the run game behind DeMarco Murray, the passing game with a new Romo and the "X" taking all Islands, as well as a Rod Marinelli "D" that is locked in looking like a poor man's "Doomsday"D and that will get the 'Boys to the big bowl!

Now we get an NFC east battle and throw out the W-L of 2014 it's Redskins and Cowboys going prime time before your local news!

Game Outlook:

The Redskins at this point have nothing to lose but can make a little bit of noise beating the Cowboys in Big D! There is no RG3 but what there is is Alfred Morris to go along with Pierre Garcon and DeSean "Nestea Plunge" Jackson. Weapons galore are at Colt McCoy disposal but he needs to be careful with that highly-underrated 'Boys secondary.

The Cowboys come in with RB DeMarco Murray doing damage on every defense he faces. If the 'Skins d-line gets blown of the Wilson pigskin by that Cowboys "D" it will be no match as it starts up front. TE Jason Witten is still a threat but with Murray going anyone on the vertical passing game of the Cowboys us a threat.

WR Dez Bryant of Jordan Brand is making a case to be in the top three wide outs in the game and I would put him, Steelers A.B., and Falcons Julio Jones in that mix. The 'Skins must slow down the Murray to have any shot or it will be a long night.

The 'Skins "D" will have red jersey collector Ryan Kerrigan as they lose Brian Orakpo again to torn biceps. Can Romo get enough time to exploit that 'Skins solid secondary by the numbers led by Steelers cast off Ryan Clark?

360 Degrees...
Note: NFL rank in parenthesis

Offense
#HTTR 290 pass yds (5th) 389 yds (7th)
#Boys 159 yds rushing (1st) 402 total yds (4th)

Defense
#HTTR 218 yds passing (6th) 321 total yds (7th)
#Boys 21 ppg (9th) 230 yds passing (11th)

Winner: Cowboys 34-24 as Romo and Dez get hot on the outside...

Biggest gamble of the 2014 season...Jerry and Stephen Jones signing former Roll Tide All-American and Decatur, Alabama native and Raiders 1st rounder ILB Rolando McClain and boy has that paid huge dividends!
