The St. Louis Cardinals have put things together at the right moment as they look to finish a four-piece sweep on Thursday vs the Pittsburgh Pirates. It was Redbirds RHP Lance Lynn's Turn on Hump Day Night as he goes a steady six giving up just two runs on six hits while walking two and striking out four to get the "W".

The Redbirds Offense was led by the top of that Cards Line Up as the 1 through 4 Hitters combine to go 9 for 18 scoring three runs and knocking in three runs. The Buccos Starter Brandon Crumpton lasted jut 3 1/3 innings allowing nine hits and four runs as he falls to 3-3 in 2014. The Redbirds Offense was highlighted by Second Baseman Kolten Wong's Solo Blast off Buccos Middle Reliever Justin Wilson in the 7th and Matt Adams moving to .336 on a 3 for 5 night with two Ribbies. The Buccos Neil Walker took Lynn deeeeeep for a Solo Bomb in the 2nd as the Bucs need to salvage game four of the four-piece set on Thursday with the All-Star Break looming!

The Redbirds move to 50-42 in the Central and the Buccos fall to 47-44 3rd place in the Central...
