The Toronto Blue Jays Starter RHP Marcus Stroman from of all places Krzyzewskiville Hardball and #DukeInMLB was simply marvelous in the 'Jays Matinee vs the AL East "Bottom Feeders" the Carmines of Fenway Park Lore.

Stroman one hits the Sox on his way to striking out seven and walking just two in seven strong innings. That 'Jays Offense was all over Carmines Starter Rubby De La Rosa ( 4 IP 9 H 7 R 6 ER 2 BB SO HR) as they put up as many runs as De La Rosa has consonants in his full name...eight. They also put crooked numbers up in the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th with 'Jays First Baseman Juan Francisco taking De La Rosa deep in the 3rd for a Two-Run Dinger. Francisco's Day ended going 3 for 4 with four RBIs and two runs scored. Melky Cabrera also had three hits and two RBIs.

The Carmines Offense at a stand still as Shane Victorino was the only hit in the Line Up. The 'Jays move to 54-49 just 2.5 games back of the O's. The Carmines still in striking distance as thy drop to 47-55 and nine games back off the pace.
