The National League 2014 M.V. P. Race will go through 5,280 feet above Ocean Water as it's Troy Tulowitzki's to lose. The dynamic "ROX" Shortstop is having a heckuva year at the Dish and just think he could hit the Free Agent Market in 2015. He has company though as the reigning 2013 NL M.V.P. "Cutch 22" dba Pirates Andrew McCutchen is heating up. Little Havana Hardball's Giancarlo Stanton if he keeps hitting "Bombs" could step right into that #1 slot.

NL 2014 M.V.P. Leader:

SS Troy Tulowitzki dba "TULO" #Rox

"Tulo" leads the World at a .345 average with 21 HRs and 52 RBis along with 71 runs (1st NL). It is his hardware to lose and he has some steep Company to run away from. "Tulo" also is #1 in OPS with a 1.048...yikes!

NL 2014 M.V.P. Followers

CF Andrew McCutchen dba "Cutch 22" #Buccos

He is swinging for a repeat and he is 2nd in OPS to "Tulo" at .995 with 17 HRs and 61 RBIs with a .324 average. Drew started to get hot in June and that's when the Bucs started to head north in the Central.

1B Paul Goldschmidt dba "Operation Goldfinger" D-Backs

The best player in the Majors no one talks about as the D-Backs stay in the NL West Basement. Goldschmidt is among the leaders in OPS .949 (3rd), 61 RBIs (tied 2nd), and 66 Runs (3rd). He is a long shot to win it but he can do it as he has nothing to shoot for but a NL M.V. P.!

RF Giancarlo Stanton dba "305 Avenger" #LittleHavanaHardball

His Power has Power as his Muscles have Muscles. Giancarlo as we go to press is #1 in HRs (21) and RBIs (63) with an OPS of .933 (4th). He has a real shot as the Marlins go if Stanton goes and there is no other way to slice that!

RF Hunter Pence dba "Run Hunter Run" #SFGHeadlines

Hunter is quietly having a career year as he has been the most consistent Giant at the Dish in 2014. Yes he is in a Contract Year and there will be plenty of suitors but the Giants have the upper-hand. Pence is 2nd in Runs (67), tied for 2nd in Hits (113), and all that while hovering around the .300 mark at .297.
