NFL WEEK 1 Run Down.......RAVENS all over STEELERS....'BOYS give JETS a GIFT....TED GINN JR...the new Devin Hester....BENGALS WIN...take that CARSON

The NFL Weekly RUN DOWN MONDAY powered by BLUEDUDE SPORTSTALK. A lot to get to in WEEK 1 and there were plenty of surprises as always.

WEEKLY the BLUEDUDE will quickly analyze the action from SUNDAY not including of course the MONDAY Night Game. This week is a little different because we had the Thursday Night NFL Kickoff Game and then we have 2 Monday Night games. The BLUEDUDE will cover them in my TUESDAY Power Rankings.

Without further a due.....the WEEK 1 Action Game by Game:

RAVENS 35 - STEELERS 7: Everything that could have went wrong did for the STEELERS as they could do nothing right and a lot of that credit goes to the RAVENS. The most puzzling STAT for the STEELERS dating back to SUPERBOWL 45 is this.....STEELERS have a combined 10 Turnovers to the PACKERS and RAVENS 0.......-10 in the TURNOVER Battle will get L's on SUNDAYS. FLACCO threw for 17-29 224 yds 3 TDS.....Ravens RB Ray Rice 19 carries 107 YDS and 1 TD. STEELERS D-LINE was man handled and that is not good. the only way to look at this is its WEEK 1 of 17 WEEKS...OUCH

BEARS 30 - FALCONS 12: So much for hating on BEARS QB Jay CUTLER.....22-32 312 yds 2TDs 1int and the Anointed One Matt RYAN aka MR. DINK and DUNK....31-47 319 yds 1int.....and yards mean nothing when you never go DOWN FIELD. The BEARS controlled this game from the onset and the DIRTY BIRDS could get the WORM, find a WORM, and eat a WORM. BEARS D also made a STATEMENT as the continue to cause Turnovers. BEARS RB Matt FORTE 16 carries for 68yds and 5 recs for 90 yds in the PASSING GAME. Heck I thought i was watching WARNER to FAULK. The FALCONS and I have been saying for quite sometime...NOT AS GOOD AS ADVERTISED....TAILGATING at the GA DOME is EXCELLENT though

BENGALS 27 - BROWNS 17: This is somewhat of a SHOCKER but if you would have told me BENGALS Backup QB Gradkowski will finish a close game......I would have told u the BENGALS might win that one. ENTER GRAD and that's what happen. The one constant for the BENGALS....that Runaway Train from MIDLAND TX LEE HS...Cedric BENSON......25 carries 121 yds and a 1TD. The BROWNS did everything to win the GAME it was just that the BENGALS did everything down the stretch to not LOSE the GAME. EA SPORTS Madden Cover boy...Peyton HILLIS......17 carries for 57 yards. BENGALS have a LITTLE bit of D.....coached by Marvin LEWIS...what would u expect on that side of the ball.

TEXANS 34 - COLTS 7: What would you expect.....the TEXANS have won this homecoming game the last couple of years with Peyton MANNING as the COLTS QB. Not going to get into too many particulars but one. NO ONE WILL FEEL SORRY FOR the COLTS without MANNING......SO COLTS PLAYERS......GRAB THEM AND PLAY.

JAGS 16 - TITANS 14: McCOWN vs HASSLEBACK..........like watching TAXI and MASH. 2 THINGS............RB Mo JONES-DREW...24 carries 97 yds for JAGS......TITANS WR Kenny BRITT 5 catches for 136 Yds. For JONES-DREW...that what he does and the JAGS know if #32 doesn't eat...they probably won't have a chance to get a W. BRITT is a fabulous talent as long as the TITANS get him a DRIVER and a BABYSITTER......DUDE has legal ISSUES out the WAZU. TAXI and MASH played well

BILLS 41 - CHIEFS 7: The Game wasn't in my viewing area. But having followed the score for about an hour and a half to two hours. I jumped on the Internet to see if Marv LEVY pulled a fast one and PHOTO SHOPPED Thurman THOMAS, ANDRE Reed, Jim KELLY, BRUCE Smith , CORNELIUS Bennett , DARRYL TALLEY, Henry JONES, and Steve TASKER. BILLS QB FITZPATRICK and the BILLS went ANDRE the GIANT on them boys from New ARROWHEAD. BILLS WR Stevie JOHNSON aka Why so SERIOUS.....BUSY. CHIEFS arsenal of CASSELL, CHARLES, and BOWE.......left eating some of that good and TOP 5 KC BBQ. If the CHIEFS don't get Now GATORS Offensive Coordinator and former Chiefs COORDINATOR Charlie WEIS back......they are done......with that BRUTAL SCHEDULE. Forget CIRCLING the WAGONS...BILLS Circling W's now.

EAGLES 31 - RAMS 13: So much for the EAGLES Defense huh!......The RAMS jumped out and then the EAGLES answered and answered and answered.......just FAST FOOTBALL. They were inside in the DOME and you give the EAGLES Speed on O and D that fast track. You would think the DRAKE RELAYS broke out. D-JACK LONG BEACH POLY 6 grabs 102 yds and Le Sean McCOY 15 totes 122 yds and 1 for PAYDIRT......RAMS......HOLLA. QB Sam BRADFORD.......not bad.....17/30 188 yds.....0 TDS. The RAMS RB Duo of Corvallis' Big Steven JACKSON and the PLAINS of Auburn's Cadillac WILLIAMS combined for 146 yds and a score. But the DREAM TEAM was making the play when they had to.

LIONS 27 - BUCS 20: I will tell you right now.....Jim SCHWARTZ and the LIONS are 4REAL...write it down take a picture.....whatever you have to do. The BUCS couldn't get nothing on the ground going and QB Freeman was at a LOSS. The LIONS on the OTHER hand have weapons everywhere on the PERIMETER and don't forget about SPEED DEMON......LIONS RB Jahvid BEST. Right now the LIONS might be in the Next to the TOP TIER in the NFC.....that was a good young TAMPA team thy beat today. OH...and LIONS QWB STAFFORD......24/33 305 yds 3 tds and a pick......GEORGIA Coach Mark RICHT has to be thinking why didn't STAFF have 6 years of eligibility.

CARDINALS 28 - PANTHERS 21: 24/37 422 yds 2 tds....D*** Kevin KOLB...NO...that was rookie QB Cam NEWTON'S Line today. I know it's the first game and he doesn't look the part......HE WENT HAM and drawing plays up in the GRASS on the CARDS. Meanwhile the aforementioned KOLB......18-27 309 yds 2 tds and no PICKS.....take that rookie. CARDS WRs...not named FITZ.....LSU's Early DOUCET.....3 grabs for 105 yards and 1 TD. One of the BLUEDUDE'S favorite Football NAMES.....should have been a SAFETY or LINEBACKER......anyway you know he wasn't FULL TERM. The CARDS all of a sudden look explosive and the FRAGILE former BUCKEYE Beanie WELLS had 18 totes for 90 yds and a score.....PANTHERS must have not had LB and former U ALUM Jon BEASON.

BOLTS 24 - VIKES 17: Up 17-7 at the half.....the PURPLE PEOPLE start putting their BOOKS up as if there were no more STUDY HALL. With QB Rivers over there and all that offensive talent.....the VIKES got caught. One Glaring weakness for the VIKES.....they have the dynamic Percy HARVIN but Bernard BERRIAN aka the TONY RICH Project.....Singer for those who don't know with HIT SINGLE...AND NOBODY KNOWS your NAME.......and they sure and the heck didn't know B-DOUBLE as OCHOCINCO calls him.....B-DOUBLE......how bout running a B-DOUBLE route for a score. BOLTS RIVERS did his usual damage with 33/48 335 and 2 for TDS.
VIKES need more from guys not named HARVIN and PETERSON.

49ERS 33 - SEAHAWKS 17: Ted GINN JR 4th QTR SHOW....starring TED GINN JR......a PUNT for a TDS and a KICKOFF for a TD in minutes SPAN in the 4th qtr.........an the 12th Zone goes home with an L. This was not a pretty game from a QB Standpoint and both of these TEAMS are FANTASY KILLERS.......MOVING ON

REDSKINS 28 - G-MEN 14: A PICK 6 down deep in their own end doom the GIANTS and ELI. Both QBs had excellent games and SEXY REXY Grossman........I HAVE ALL THESE HATERS OUT THERE.......just PLAY FOOL...and get of the Internet and turn your radio off.....B****A**. GROSS threw for 21/34 305 and 2 tds and ELI was 18/32 and 268 yds but no scores. It's a DIVISION GAME.....and that's why it is important.

JETS 27 - COWBOYS 24: The COWBOYS were 241-0-1 when leading by 14+ points or more heading into the 4th QTR....thx NBC SPORTS. Now you can ARCHIVE THAT ONE......the play.....ROMO tells JETS Corner Darrelle REVIS......run a down and curl in and i will hit you right between the numbers. COWBOYS had the game won and SPECIAL TEAMS and QB Tony ROMO cost them this one. I have heard all that other stuff....you win as a TEAM and you lose as a TEAM.......DOESN'T apply in this one. No NUMBERS for you because of the TERRIBLE ENDING. The COWBOY Problem is at QB.......been emailing them......tweeting JERRY and his SON......calling......9 GATEKEEPERS and they funnel the calls to COWBOYS MERCHANDISE.....the BLUEDUDE trying to help. EVERYTHING is BIG in TEXAS....including that INTERCEPTION.


WEEL 1 GAMES will be summarized as GAMES that have Great Endings, some BLOWOUTS, and PLAYERS making names for themselves. If your team lost in WEEK 1 and it was a DIVISIONAL GAME......it's cause for concern maybe not now but for later.
