UCONN has its MAN.....PF/C Andre DRUMMOND.....the #2 Overall HS BB Player in the Class of 2011.....and the HUSKIES are Officially LOADED

The best news for the Defending National Champion UCONN Huskies recieved was that the #2 Overall HS BB Player....PF/C Andre DRUMMOND is signed, sealed, and delivered to play at STORRS CT in the FALL 2011. DRUMMOND was ranked #2 behind Chicago Illinois PERSPECTIVES HS Star and Kentucky signee Anthony DAVIS an in front of Winter PARK FLA HS and DUKE Signee and Son of CELTICS Coach DOC RIVERS...Austin RIVERS who was #3 Overall prospect in the Class of 2011.

The embattled DRUMMOND, who played last season at ST. THOMAS MORE Prep in OAKDALE CT, hails from New LONDON CT.. And the HUSKIES who have no scholarships had reportedly one of their current scholarship Players to give up their scholarship to give to DRUMMOND as that player now will go down in the books as a WALK-ON.

The 6-11 DRUMMOND has been characterized as maybe the best HS Big Man since Indianapolis Lawrence NORTH HS Product Greg ODEN. DRE being 6-11 and about 260 EL BEES runs like STAT.......Finishes around the RIM like STAT and the REIGN MAN Shawn KEMP, and as ATHLETIC as a BIG MAN can get. The Downside is that he is far from a finished product as he lack a FACE-UP, Back to the Basket, or any kind of post moves. His shooting touch is not good either but heck STAT, REIGN MAN, and SUPERMAN couldn't shoot coming out of HS either. They relied on SHEER ATHLETCISM and SIZE to dominate opponents.

NOTE: At press time former UCONN assistant that recruited guys like Ray ALLEN, Rip HAMILTON, Khalid EL-AMIN, Donyell MARSHALL, Donny MARSHALL, and current UCONN ASST Kevin OLLIE out of famed LA CRENSHAW HS......Karl HOBBS is back at STORRS as Director of BASKETBALL Operations....after a 11 year tenure at George WASHINGTON University in DC.

HOBBS played with KNICKS and Georgetown Legend PATRICK EWING at Famed Rindge and LATIN HS in Cambridge MASS under former JOHNNIES Coach Mike JARVIS.

Another ALUM of Rindge/Latin HS...Michigan All-American Rumeal ROBINSON who played for the 1989 MICHIGAN WOLVERINE National Championship Team led by FLINT MICHIGAN's Own GLEN RICE.
