the CARMINES and BRAVES....blow almost Double-Digit Leads in the WILD CARD....to Lose the Wild Card on the last day of the MLB SEASON.....UNBELIEVABLE

Just when you think you have seen it all.......Professional SPORTS once again grabs your FULL-ATTENTION and takes you to a place that no one can but maybe DEATH.

The American League and National League WIld Card Spots were on FULL DISPLAY Wednesday NIght with 4 games of Importance. The CARMINES @ the O's......the PINSTRIPES @ the RAYS......Fightin' PHILS @ A T L.....and the REDBIRDS @ ENRON FIELD LOL.......the 'STROS. Heck I guess if it was ENRON FIELD still.....the ASTROS would have blown it.

Anyway with the CARMINES and RAYS tied for the AL WILD CARD......if both WIN a one game playoff......if Both lose a one game playoff........if one or the other loses the other team is in. The same goes for the SENIOR Circuit......being the REDBIRDS and the BRAVES.

The CARMINES blow a lead in the NINTH and lose now watching the RAYS and YANKS go into EXTRA-Innings. Now if the RAYS pull this off it would be the worst SEPTEMBER Collapse in American League History and at the Disposal of RED SOX Nation.

Bottom of the 12th.....the PITCH...........everyone is RED SOX NATION......we have DEATH in the FAMILY......a Walk-off Job and the RAYS get the AL WILD CARD.......HOLY BEANTOWN CLAM CHOWDER.......in the VOICE of the late JACK BUCK......"I can't believe what I just saw".

The RED SOX have a ( game lead on SEPTEMBER 3rd and go 7-17 while the RAYS go exactly the opposite.....17-7 to win the AL Wild Card.

Meanwhile the ATLANTA BRAVES are trying to avoid a CHOKE JOB of their own....and considering how many AL EAST Crowns they have compared to WORLD SERIES WINS......they don't need to LOSE this game and NOT get to the PLAYOFFS.

With the BRAVES arch-rival in front of them......the FIGHTIN' PHILS who clinched when they signed LHP Cliff LEE during the 2010 WINTER MEETINGS.........THE PHILS WIN in extras 4-3.......and the BRAVES are officially on SUICIDE Watch.....at least their FAN BASE is. The BRAVES FANS are probably saying HELL if we are going to lose do it in 9........most of us have to work in the morning.

Now the REDBIRDS have to win in HOUSTON......you think the 'STROS put up a fight........with 105 loses before tonight.......the REDBIRDS scored 5 in the 1st Frame......HOLLA.

The REDBIRDS win the NL WILD CARD. REDBIRDS 7-3 in their last 10 and the BRAVES 2-8 in their last 10 having lost 5 in a row.....they just needed to go 2-3 to win the NL WILD CARD.

BRAVES up 10.5 games on the CARDS on AUGUST 26th and 8.5 Games on SEPTEMBER 6th.........but go 9-18 in the FINAL MONTH and the REDBIRDS go 23-8 in their last 31 games......HOTTIE HOT.

This is WHY SPORTS can sometimes be cruel. Look at the young kids out there that their teams didn't pull through. The OFF-SEASON for these teams that lost on the last day CAN'T go by FAST ENOUGH. The FANS and if your a BASEBALL FAN ONLY of the TEAMS that lost......ROOTING for your TEAM.......FORGIVENESS for your TEAM.......and there is always NEXT YEAR.....TAKES ON A WHOLE NEW MEANING.
