It's finally September which means College Football.......the Drive to the PENNANT is in full effect....the NFL is a week away....and Who will win the MVP in Both the Senior Circuit and Junior Circuit.

There are probably 3 maybe 4 candidates in each league the clear cut favorites are Curtis GRANDERSON in the AL and Prince FIELDER in the National League.

Let's take a look at the CANDIDATES...Junior Circuit :

1. Adrian GONZALEZ CARMINES .341 23hr 103rbi 93 runs .953 ops

2. Curtis GRANDERSON BOMBERS .273 38hr 107rbi 123 runs .959 ops

3. Jacob ELLSBURY CARMINES .313 24hr 84rbi 97 runs .897 ops

4. Dustin PEDROIA CARMINES .308 17hr 72rbi 84 runs .867 ops

5. Justin VERLANDER TIGERS 20-5 2.38ERA 4CG 218K 48BB opp avg .190

The BOSOX have 3 solid candidates and if GRANDERSON continues to slip in Batting AVG.....the BOSOX front runner will probably be GONZO. All 4 candidates also have something going for them......they will be in Post Season play.

Watch for VERLANDER dominating from the mound and I have seen it before where a guy just blows away the voting from the MOUND...and the last to do that in the AL was 1992 Dennis ECKERSLEY aka ECK and he was a Reliever.

The Candidates for the Senior Circuit:

1. Prince FIELDER BREW CREW .293 29hr 102rbi 81 runs .947 ops

2. Ryan BRAUN BREW CREW .333 25hr 89 rbi 92 runs .995 ops

3. Matt KEMP Boys in BLUE .320 31hr 102rbi 87 runs .965 ops

4. Troy TULOWITZKI ROCKIES ..303 28hr 94rbi 74 runs .921 ops

The National League is a Two Trick Pony and that Pony is up and running in BEER TOWN. Prince has cooled off a little and the notion of BRAUN maybe passing him in the voting is a possiblity. For Contracts sake....PRINCE can't let him do that...It's a team game until it come to your DIRECT DEPOSIT.......BRAUN already has his duffel bag of cash....and for LEVERAGE...PRINCE needs to get that NL MVP.
