We are in full tilt as the COLLEGE Football Season is almost halfway through. The BIG BOYS are starting to go HEAD to HEAD and the CREAM always rises to the TOP in these CONTESTS.

This is one of about 4 BIG SATURDAY Showdowns that will impact not only the TOP 25 but the soon to be released BLUEDUDE SPORTSTALK BCS Standings.

We have a unique Match-up this week as the CORNHUSKERS of LINCOLN travel to their first Big TEN GAME at MADISON Wisconsin to face the BADGERS..........#8 vs #7 respectively. As well as an OLD SEC Bash as the BOYS from TUSCALOOSA Alabama travel to the SWAMP to take on the Will MUSCHAMP/Charlie WEIS led GATORS.

14 Texas A&M @ 18 ARKANSAS: They both have to forget last Saturday and quickly. The 12th Man got beta at the end vs the STILLWATER OKLAHOMA Cowboys and the HOGS were simply outmatched at 'BAMA.

First of all the AGGIES QB Ryan TANNEHILL and RB Cyrus GRAY need to pick up their chins as they both did a disservice to themselves and their team last week with turnovers and not being a factor in the run game. The HOGS will be waiting for them as this is a GOOD Non-Conference TILT for now.

The HOGS looked the part for about 1 Quarter. Then they looked like one of those teams ALABAMA schedules in between a tough stretch that the TIDE know a W is coming. DEFENSIVELY they need to get back to being sound upfront as they were just shoved around. COACH PETRINO must get back to running the ball as PASSING all the time gets to predictable.

WINNER: AGGIES in a tough one......I just don't think PIG SOOIE will be quite over the drubbing they took in T-TOWN.

AUBURN @ 10 South CAROLINA: What can Auburn Coach Gene Chizik do for an ENCORE as this is the TIGERS 2nd straight trip to South Carolina.......and the STATE of SC is 1-0. The TIGERS better find some DEFENSE or OLD BALL COACH Steve SPURRIER will be waiting on the TIGERS with some of that old GATOR PASSING Attack.

The TIGERS can put up points but they will need to STOP the GAMECOCKS......and if they don't.....another L. SPURRIER has the DUO of QB Stephen GARCIA and RB Marcus LATTIMORE of St. THOMAS AQUINAS HS Fame......putting in work and they are a Veteran Group. Also on display for the GAMECOCKS is the #1 Schoolbot HS Football player in the country last year.....DE/OLB Jadaveon CLOWNEY......and he will be in the BACKFIELD.

WINNER: GAMECOCKS as they put MORE POINTS up then the WAR EAGLES....and that SEC EAST may go through COLUMBIA

BEAMER and his longtime Defensive COORDINATOR.....Bud FOSTER have plenty of expereince in going head to head vs an OFFENSIVE WEAPON like DAVIS. QUESTION is......IS DAVIS ready for the VAUNTED HOKIES D and their always STOUT Secondary. Like Jimmy WILLIAMS, DeAngelo HALL, and Brandon FLOWERS to name a few......all playing SUNDAY...well at least HALL and FLOWERS.

The TIGERS will be tested as BEAMER Stadium is a real tough place to play and the HOKIES better tun the OFFENSE up a notch to keep up with the new CLEMSON TIGERS. Look for HOKIES RB David WILSON to try to get the Ground game started as HOKIES QB Logan THOMAS.....all 6-6 254 el bees of a MAN.......will keep the TIGERS secondary honest.

But Muschamp wasn't done knowing he is the Defensive GURU. He also has Former Notre Dame Head Coach and KC CHiefs Offensive Coordinator Charlie WEIS.....and ll that TEAM SPEED to boot.

SABAN and his group is typical SABAN. Tough, Physical at the point of Attack, Conditioned well, and ATHLETES everywhere. THE TIDE will need that and then some because the GATORS might not be as physical....but from ATHLETES and a CONDITIONING Standpoint....they will match anyone PROGRAM in the Country.
