It was built up to be "Must See 1 of 162" T.V. and it lived up to its billing. After the Dodgers took down the Yellow Tape on their Visiting Clubhouse Doors from last nights 14-5 thrashing from the Tigers it was Zack Greinke vs Max Scherzer in to of the best Righties in the Show.

The Ian Kinsler and Don Kelly singles of Greinke in the bottom half of the 1st told the tale as the Dodgers were shutdown by "Mad Max beyond Comerica Park". Up 2-0 the Motor City Kitties added another run in the 4th to make it 3-0. Greinke (7 IP 3 H 3 R 0 BB 8 SO) didn't pitch all that bad it's just that he had no Run Support. Dodger Shortstop Miguel Rojas went Yard taking Scherzer for a Solo Shot in the 5th making it 3-1 Tigers as the Tigers added an insurance run in the 8th to send Team Chavez Ravine packing going 0-2 i the "D"!

Scherzer gets the "W" going seven allowing one run on four hits walking two and striking out seven. Yasiel Puig went 2 for 4 for the Dodgers. Austin Jackson was 2 for 4 for the Tigers with two runs as Detroit Hardball had no "Miggy" Cabrera or V-Mart!

Tigers move to 50-37 just 4.5 games up on the Royals. The Dodgers stay in first in the NL West by a 1/2 game.
