Everyone in the SEC was wondering if that Ole Rebels "D" that has been top-shelf would hold up up front as the LSU Tigers were going to go right down the A-Gap. Well after all that smoke cleared in Death Valley in the Bayou the Tigers run a 264 yard tab on the Rebels run "D" with a host of running backs doing the damage for a 10-7 LSU upset of the #3 Rebels. of the Land Shark!

It was LSU running backs Leonard Fournette (true freshman) 23/113, Terrence MaGee 12/74, and Kenny Hilliard 12/63 doing the damage as the Rebels were gashed giving up a total of 406 yards.

Land Shark QB Bo Wallace was off his targets all night long throwing for just 176 yards on 14 for 33 and TD and an INT. His inaccuracy all night long played right into the hands of the Tigers as LSU had three 1st half fumbles lost. His #1 target WR LaQuon Treadwell had 4 grabs for 71 yards dba  @SuccessfulQuon on twitter.

LSU QB Anthony Jennings also threw two INT's but also made plays down the field when he had to ending the night 8 for 16 for 142 yards and a TD to go with those two picks. Ole Miss inability to get down in the red zone and put the game away earlier in the game cost them as they fall to 7-1 and 4-1 in the SEC. The Tigers move to 7-2 and 3-2 in the SEC and will get Auburn next week.

As for the 2014 "Egg Bowl" (annual Ole Miss vs Miss St Game around Thanksgiving) Ole Miss didn't hold their end of the bargain up as the Mississippi State Bulldogs ran away from the UK Wildcats earlier today by the score of 45-31 and moving to 7-0 and 4-0 in the SEC!
