Pacers lead man Frank Vogel gets his extension but the road to get the Pacers back became a little bit tougher with Paul George going down in Vegas playing with Team USA. Having said that Indy still has a nice core and they will have to ride that core to stay in the middle of the NBC central heap.

If hindsight as 20/20 the Pacers would have gave "Born Ready" Lance Stephenson more cash and years. Lance was looking for a three-year deal to maybe play his self into a Max deal at the end of that contract having some leverage like All-Star appearances on his resume. Larry bird and Pacers brass wasn't going to let that happen and thy end up being on the wrong end of that deal.

Now it's going to be up to George Hill, Roy Hibbert, and David West among others to reach back in that 82-game trek to keep Pacers Nation in the "Fight for Larry" Hunt making winning time!

#PACERSNation 2014-15 VITALS

Franchise Player (s): PG-13, Roy Hibbert, George Hill, David West

Building Blocks: CJ Miles, Luis Scola, Rodney Stuckey, CJ Watson, Chris Copeland

Top Circle City Chaperon: CJ Fair

Top Free Agent: CJ Miles/Rodney Stuckey

Sleeper Player (s): It has to be CJ Miles who is only 27 years old with 9m years in the Logo. He will get major minutes with Pg-13 on the shelf and should explode and remember I told you so. Watch "Stuck" as he get a change of scenery and sometimes for a player of Stuck's Caliber that's all he needed!

Trade Piece (s): They tried to get rid of "Area 55" as his play in the playoffs was at a all-time low. All that has quieted down since George will be out for quite sometime.

#PACERSNation 2014-15 Outlook 4th in the Central

George Hill and CJ Watson will be vital to the Pacers 2014-15 success and lea man Frank Vogel knows this. Rodney Stuckey will be solid at the shooting guard along with CJ Miles at the small forward. The pieces behind those four are relative unknown as the Pacers try to fit what appears to be a square peg into a round hole.

Adonis Thomas might be a surprise as rook CJ Fair of the 'Cuse with some minutes available. The front line will go through David West and "Area 55" Roy Hibbert and if big Roy comes to play the Pacers I think might be able to be right both the Bulls and Cavs.

Watch the steady play of Luis Scola as he becomes even more valuable under the Pacers circumstances. Can Indy stay afloat without that Franchise Piece in PG-13 as they have no other choice?
