The Blackhawks know thy have them something in their 25-year old Finnish net minder Antti Raanta and the Hawks also know the cup runneth' over with Hawks talent talking to Hawks Brain Trust Stan Bowman. Having said that Raanta shuts down the Fly Guys of Philly on Ice!

The Hawks got the Madhouse rocking early as Brandon Saad, Patrick Kane, and Bryan Bickell all "lit the lamp" between the 11 minute and 14 minute mark of the first frame. Flyers net minder Steve Mason stopped 39 of 43 shots but it was the early assault in the blue paint on hims that spelled gloom and doom for the Fly Guys!

The "Bison City Blur" Patrick Kane took his talents to net after a scoreless 2nd frame on the power play and scored hsi 2nd PPG . If the Hawks are going to regain magic and get to that Cup they must be better on the power play there is nothing else to talk about.

Raanta of Finland stopped all 32 shots he faced including 23 of those 32 in the 2nd and 3rd frame. The Fly Guys hit the penalty box four times compared to the Hawks twice and you cannot win out of the motel playing short-handed all game long.

The Indian Head moves to 4-0-1 and nine points while the Flyers fall to 1-3-2 with 4 points. The Hawks now hit the road for the next two as they get the Preds in Music City on Thursday October 23 and the St. Louis Blues on Saturday October 25.
