The top Wide outs in the "Shield" through NFL Week 7 shouldn't surprise you but the new wave is coming. Last season it was the Dawg Pound's Josh Gordon and Steelers Antonio Brown one and two in yards receiving. Who is it now through NFL week 7 is Brown at the top or near the top?

"MONSTERS on the Outside" through Week 7 talking blades of grass!

Top 10 WR in Yards through Week 7
Note: Grabs (Receptions in parenthesis)

1. Antonio Brown #HereWeGo (50) 719

2. Jordy Nelson #CheeseHeads (47) 712

3. T.Y. Hilton #BlueSwagger (47) 711

4. Julio Jones #RiseUpFalcons (49) 676

5. Demaryius Thomas #UnitedInOarnge (39) 662

6. Golden Tate #RestoreTheRoar (48) 649

7. Steve Smith #PurpleBrowns (38) 640

8. Dez Bryant #CowboysNation (45) 590

9. DeSean Jackson #HTTR (26) 528

10. Emmanuel Sanders #UnitedInOrange (38) 514

A.B. for the Steelers was the best WR of the now defunct Steelers "Bugatti Boys" and that would be Ocean's 11 of #PhinsUP Mike Wallace, A.B., and "Go Go" Sanders of now the Broncos in Emmanuel Sanders. Brown is a supreme route-runner and can take the top off the "D"...a monster at 5'9"!

Jordy is showing he was worth the new deal but he didn't need that to let everyone know he is all of that and A-Rog's top target!

Hilton like Brown is so elusive in space yet can get on a safety on that deep 1/3 in the snap of a Wilson Pigskin...if he doesn't look like the new Marvin Harrison and faster I am lost!

They talk about the young WR stars in AJ Green and Dez Bryant but Julio Jones might be the best of the three and Dez of Jorrdan Brand is the more durable of the three...Jones still getting his with Falcons QB "Matty Ice" always on his back!

Demaryius Thomas of the Broncos or the other Thomas is MEGA-tron 5,280 feet above ocean water a rare mix of speed and power as he is built like Seahawks SS Kam Chancellor...real talk!

No MEGA-tron that's alright as here comes Mr. Tate doing what he does...making plays a huge pick up for the Lions and the Seahawks could use Tate about now!

Angry Bird #89 has the best "Deep Pig" in the 'Shield" from Ordinary Joe and there is rebirth of Steve Smith in the Charm City dba Steve Smith Sr....

"Throw up the X" as it's DeMarco by land and Dez by air and the Cowboys will take those two, a new Romo, and those young "Nasties" up front and leave you with a 6-1 W-L for 2014!

DeSean "Nestea Plunge" Jackson will cover "Blades of Grass" in any uniform...528 yards on just 29 grabs...butta!

He left the 'Burgh and he was player there and now he is #10 on the list and headed for a career-year from Manning Mile High...congrats Go Go of SMU Football but you never throw your QB under the bus no matter what!
