The San Diego Chargers are going to see here this 2014 unit is as they may have been caught by Red Friday looking ahead to this one on a short week. The Chiefs though played them straight up and beat the Bolts at the "Murph" and now the Chargers are in the Motel waiting on the mighty Denver Broncos.

The Broncos coming off a Sunday Night smack down of the San Francisco 49ers and Manning breaking Favre's TD Passing record. Now the plot thickens as this is a divisional game with huge ramifications moving forward for both.

The Broncos want to keep their feet on ski's and hit the slopes in mid-February after a parade route. The Bolts and Rivers want proud Chargers Nation to get a taste of another Super Bowl appearance and a possible chip both teams are that good.

NFL Week 8 "Thursday Night Football" in "A QB Driven League"
Thursday October 23, 2014 8:25pm ET
@
Sports Authority Field in the Mile High City

Game Outlook:

The Bolts come in 6th in passing yards at 270 plus ppg. They are also 6th inn scoring with a little over 26 ppg and that is getting it done offensively. TE Antonio Gates leads the Bolts with 7 TD's. QB Phillip Rivers has thrown for 17 TD's and maybe having his best season or is on par to get his best season in the pocket.

Rook RB Branden Oliver of Buffalo U has been huge getting his inner Darren Sproles on and the Broncos must account for him not just on 3rd down..but every time he is behind on the field.

That Broncos secondary will be bust dealing with the trio of Malcolm Floyd, Keenan Allen, and Eddie Royal who have combined for 1,111 yards and eight TD's. Throw in Gates that is fifteen TD's and they are money in the red zone.

The Broncos "D" has been just as good as the offense as bookends Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware have combined for 15 red jersey collections. Manning and Company though are 31 in scoring offense at 31.5 ppg, 3rd in passing yards at just under 300 yards per, and 4th in totals yards just under 400 yards per.

The duo of Broncos WR's Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel "Go Go" Sanders has been government-issued C-4! They have combined for 77 grabs and 1,176 yards and seven in your end zone. TE Julius Thomas has 28 grabs but nine of those 28 are in your end zone and if they split him out wide one on one near pay dirt Manning is going to him.

A wonderful match up and do not leave this one as it will need to end and wire to wire action 5,280 feet above ocean water.

Winner: Bolts 31-27 a Rivers and Company answer the bell...
