The San Antonio Spurs went Redeem Team in the 2013-14 season erasing those demons from that 2013 "Fight for Larry" where they could not close the Heat. Nothing has changed in Spurs Nation as they are still they hunted and are picked by many to advance again to another series in early to mid- June 2015.

Will the Spurs be able to hold up as that 2nd unit will be even better in 2014-15? France Point God Tony Parker of Peak USA Scooby Doos has a lot of tread on those tires and will that tread hold up through the 82-game trek and after? Tim Duncan is still a dominant threat but the emergence of France's Boris Diaw and Australia's Aron Baynes was huge last season. Here comes the Spurs again...

#SpurWars 2014-15 Vitals

Franchise Piece (s): Dunc, TP9, Kawhi, Manu

Building Blocks: Patty Mills, Aron Baynes, Danny Green, Tiaggo Splitter

Top Riverwalk Host (top Spurs rookie): Kyle Anderson

Sleeper Player (s): Aaron Baynes was big time in summer league and that should continue as the Spurs development of players is outstanding. Also look for Mills who is out the first few months to have another major impact as the Spurs Australian connection plays a huge part once again in 2014-15. Watch for Spurs 2014 1st rounder Kyle Anderson with his versatile floor game.

Trade Piece (s): The Spurs don't make too many trades as they build within so don't expect any major moves with the 2014-15 roster as is nearly set in stone.

#SpurWars 2014-15 Outlook is #1 in the Southwest and #1 overall in the West

The Spurs are ready to keep that Larry O'Brien Trophy as they must avoid a few key arenas. No major injuries to their top four players in Duncan, TP9, Kawhi, and Manu. They also need their role players to play Spur Wars as they did in 2014-15 as they played big in all 82 and in the "Fight for Larry".

The Spurs will ride Parker once again but with Mills out the first few months look for Corey Joseph to emerge as the Spurs have been extremely patient with the former Hookem' Horns standout and Findlay Prep Nevada star.

Manu is the man here but he is more "Winning Time" than anything else. Danny Green dba "D.G. of AT&T" is solid at shooting guard and Italian sniper Marco Belinelli will be on ready alert 5 backing him up. What makes Green fantastic is his "D" obviously and his ability to stretch the hardwood. The versatile rook Kyle Anderson who can play 1-3 will be an asset once he gets his feet under. The former Paterson Catholic NJ and St. Anthony N.J. star can play and with that 6-7 frame the Spurs get a steal in round 1.

At small forward it's all about Kawhi Leonard as his development has been fun to watch and he might be the Spurs best player of their four top players as he is still developing. Watch former Zags star and Bloodline Austin Daye (Dad formr UCLA star Darren Daye) as he has the skill set as the Spurs try and get him up to speed.

The front court is led by Mr. Duncan but Brazil's Tiaggo Splitter is on the ups. Baynes and Jeff Ayres is a nice 1-2 punch on that 2nd unit with former Gator standout Matt "Strawberry Rifle" Bonner doing what he does. Those three will play a huge part in the 82-game trek keeping major minutes off of "Dunc". Diaw has become the 2nd most important player on that front line and his commitment back to being the best NBA player he can be is a credit to himself as well as the Spurs as everyone falls in line playing under"Spur Wars"!

It's Chip or Bust near the Riverwalk in San Antonio and nothing less!
