The San Diego Chargers at this time last week was riding high at 5-1 and looking to go 6-1 entering their Thursday night game with the Denver Broncos. Fast forward to early Friday morning a week later the Bolts are 5-3 eating a nice load of Humble pie Pumpkin flavored.

With no scoring in the first frame the Broncos came out firing on all cylinders in the 2nd and 3rd frames as they opened up the scoring with a TD pass to Emmanuel Sanders from Manning. The Bolts answered that with a thirteen play 84 yard drive that ended in a Keenan Allen TD pass tying the game up at 7-7. That would be as close as this one would get as the Broncos "D" took over a id Manning Mile High.

After the Allen score the Broncos kick returner Andre Caldwell fumbled as the refs reversed the call keeping the pigskin with the Broncos. Manning then took United in Orange 74 yards on eight plays with "Go Go" Sanders catching another Manning pass for a score making it 14-7 at the half.

At the start of the 2nd half the Broncos get a short field and Manning connected with Sanders again for his 3rd TD of the night making it 21-7. Team E88 as he was with Steelers Nation hauled in nine pigs for 120 yards and three TD's on a career-night. Demaryius Thomas grabbed eight for 105 with RB Ronnie Hillman rushing for 109 yard on 20 carries.

Bolts TE Antonio Gates made it 28-14 Broncos after the Orange Crush scored again after Sander grabbed his 3rd TD. Manning Mile High was just 25 for 35 for 286 yards and three TD's all to Sanders.

Bolts QB Phillip Rivers was 30 for 41 for 252 yards and three TD's but those two INT's were costly. Keenan Allen had nine grabs for 73 yards and a score leading the Bolts.

The Broncos move to 6-1 while the Bolts fall to 5-3 rather quickly...
