The Kansas City Royals might not win the 2K14 "Fight for the Commissioner" but I know this the entertainment value is through the o-zone layer with all that other "Stuff". It was Royals starter Yordano Ventura going seven scattering three hits and walking five though no ducks came back to quack on him and four strikeouts.
It as that crooked seven the Royals put up in the 2nd frame that chased Giants starter Jake Peavy back to paint that Trolley maybe in K.C. Royals blue. That frame was highlighted by five singles and three two-baggers with Peavy's Tab at...1.1 IP 6 H 5 R 5 ER BB 2 SO.
That Gigantes Pen didn't fare any better as Yusmeiro Petit (3 H 2 R), Jean Machi (5 H 2 R), and Hunter Strickland (1 R HR) all joined Peavy's misery.
Royals CF/RF Lorenzo Cain went 2 for 3 with three RBI's. Mike Moustakas goes 2 for 4 with 2 runs and two RBI's along with a solo Blast off of Strickland. #TakeTheCrown pounded out 15 hits and scored ten runs.
Now we get vet Tim Hudson for San Fran going up against Jeremy Guthrie for the Royals in a winner gets the parade and for K.C. that would be going from the Port-A-Potty to the High-Rise...real talk!
