Both starters battled as the Giants Jake Peavy might have went one inning to deep not second guessing the best in-game manager in the show in Bruce Bochy. That five-run 6th frame by the Royals evens the series and sends the 2K14 "Fight for the Commissioner" back to McCovey Cove at 1-1.

The game for the Royals had an inauspicious start as K.C. starter Yordano Ventura gave up a lead-off solo blast to Gregor Blanco making it 1-0 Gigantes. Ventura (ND 5.1 IP 8 H 2 R 2 ER 2 SO HR) would settle down after that and would give up one more run in the 4th off of a Brandon Belt two-bagger.

Gigantes starter Jake Peavy was in the saddle at least for a no-decision as the Royals get one in the first off a Billy Butler single and another run in the 2nd off of a Alcides Escobar double. The game would go into the 6th tied up at 2-2 as Peavy gave up a lea doff single by Lorenzo Cain and a walk to Eric Hosmer.

Peavy was replaced by Jean Machi and Royals DH Billy Butler greeted him with a run-scoring single making it 3-2 Royals. Javier Lopez replaced Machi and gets an out giving way to Hunter Strickland and this is where the game for the Gigantes gets a little out of whack.

Strickland throws a 1st pitch wild pitch as both ducks advance to 2nd and 3rd. Royals back stop Salavador Perez then hits a two-run double and the Royals go up 5-2. Then K.C. second baseman Omar Infante greets "Strick" with a two-run blast as the runners are going around the base paths "Strick" starts yelling at Perez for no apparent reason. The real problem was that the youthful exuberant Royals were all on the field for a good old fashion Kaufmann Donnybrook with "Strick" and Giants back stop Buster Posey standing there...stay tuned!

Royals win 7-2 as K.C. captain save-a-game Greg Holland gets some 9th frame work in as they will need him in the bay!

Series tied 1-1...that 6th inning vintage 2k14 "Yost Ball" right there!
