The New York Jets arrive in prime time in Foxboro with more than just a QB issue. Gang Green is now at 1-5 in 2014 and dba Lame Green in the bottom of the AFC east. No it's not all QB Geno but more of a myriad of the blame game goes to both sides of the Wilson pigskin as lead man Rex Ryan might need a life line larger than the "Shield" to get him out of this one.

The Patriots seemingly in trouble at 1-2 just weeks ago have put up back to back W's averaging 40 ppg. Tom Terrific of Foxboro is doing what Tom does minus the WR corps that is front of him. Now they face the loss of RB Stevan Ridley and Mike backer Jerod Mayo to knee injuries and Injured Reserve. What will the Pats "D" look like losing again their leader with NT Vince "I ate Gillette" Wilfork holding up the fort?

NFL Week 7 Thursday Night Football
Thursday October 16th, 2014
from
Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA

Kickoff @ 830pm ET

Game Outlook:

Where do you start for the Jets as the staple was suppose to be that defense led by that front of Muhammad Wilkerson and Sheldon Richardson. Now the "D" is all of a sudden not looking the part and QB Geno Smith has had plenty of blunders. Can or will they get a steady diet of Chris Johnson and Chris Ivory on the ground as Geno needs a security blanket at this point? The Pats will force him to throw taking the run game away and Geno will have to make plays in the vertical passing game for the Jets to stay within striking distance.

The Patriots have been explosive on offense as the Defense has also played well enough with plenty of points to play with. Brady has hung 43 points on Who Dey and 37 on Bills Mafia and with new characters starring in leading roles. Ridley is a huge loss but RB  Veren is a better option anyway in the passing game.  Both "Gronk" and Julian Edelman are still the top guys when Brady gos to the air but look for a few others namely former Baton Rouge U WR Brandon LaFell.

Mayo is a irreplaceable on "D" but they have pieces and as long as they have Wilfork and that secondary led by Twin McCourty and Revis Island dba Darrelle Revis things should be solid. Can they make Geno pay as they will get their share of chances when Lame Green goes to the air?

Winner: Pats 45 Jets 17 as the Pats Offense torches the Jets "D" and Game Green looks like they need a new face leading them as the New York Daily Sports section puts J-E-T-S in the brick-oven!
