The St. Louis Cardinals handles the L.A. Dodgers like they always do. These San Fran Giants dba Fisherman's Wharf Hardball is another act. In a decisive 6th frame the Giganets pull a game 4 "W" out of the New Era 59/50 game cap and now lead the 2K14 NLCS 3-1.

The Redbirds looked well on their way as Gigantes starter Ryan Vogelsong couldn't have put the Redbirds out with help from the US Coastguard out in McCovey Cove! St. Louis put up one each in the 1st and 2nd and then two more runs in the 3rd to take a 4-1 lead all highlighted by a two singles and a solo blast by Kolten Wong.

The Gigantes though scoring their lone run on a Buster Posey sac-fly in the 1st. They scored two more in their half of the 3rd behind Buster Posey and Hunter Pence singles making it 4-3 Redbirds after three.

San Fran then in the 6th with the score still 4-3 Redbirds the Gigantes lead-off with a walk and single and a sac-bunt putting ducks on the pond at 2nd and 3rd. Gregor Blanco's fielder's choice tied it at 4-4 and Joe Panik's ground out put the Gigantes up 5-4. Then it was star back stop Buster Posey with a run-scoring single making it 6-4 Fisherman's Wharf Hardball. Both Marco Gonzalez and Seth Maness were on the bump when SF took the lad with Gonzo charged with al three ducks crossing the dish.

Both #OrangeOctober captain save-a-games Sergio Romo and Santiago Casillas combined for three strikeouts and giving up two hits in the 8th and 9th to close the deal.

Game 5 is Thursday October 16th at 8pm ET featuring aces Adam Wainright for St. Louis vs Madison Bumgarner for the Giants.
