The Minnesota Timberwolves embark on their first season without another Franchise-type player  who jumps ship. No I am not counting the "Big Ticket" Kevin Garnett as he had to get out of the twin cities to eat but the 'Wolves inability to keep anyone building block.

Now all that might have fell into one of those 10K Lakes as the 2014-15 "Wolves are young but extremely talented and expect plenty of Nerf-Rim type splash plays along with a huge scoring punch from the two and three. Having said that can the 'Wolves avoid the Northwest division basement in the 2014-15 campaign remains to be seen.

The 'Wolves have put together some kind of staff with Minority Owner/ Pres of Basketball Ops/Head Coach Flip Saunders. His top two assistants are Sidney Lowe and Sam Mitchell.

Franchise Player (s): Nikola Pekovic, Andrew Wiggins, Ricky Rubio

Building Blocks: Gorgui Deng, Zach LaVine, Kevin Martin, Thaddeus Young, Anthony Bennett

Top Snow Shovelers ('Wolves top Rookies): Andrew Wiggins/Zach LaVine

Sleeper Player (s): Thaddeus Young dba "Thad-Ex" was huge in that Wiggins deal as he was almost a throw-in with All-Star type game. He should help the young fellas immensely and take added pressure off Pekovic and Martin carrying the scoring load.

Trade Piece (s): Mo Williams as I though he would land on a team that is ready to make a run in the "Fight for Larry". I expect Mo-Will to have plenty of seekers at the NBA Trade Deadline as he also is on a 12 month purchase order! Maybe Chase Budinger or Corey Brewer as the 'Wolves have way too many players looking for minutes at the SG and SF!

#10KLakes 2014-15 Outlook tied 4th in the Northwest with Jazz

The point guard slot will be handled by subsequent team leader Ricky Rubio dba Spain's "La Pistola".  Mo-Will and JJ Berea gives the 'Wolves added flexibility with Mo-Will more of a combo-guard.

Kevin Martin of Jordan Brand is holding down the sniper slot with rookie high-flyer Zach LaVine from Bruins nation by way of the 206 Seattle-Area.  Look for maybe 2014 2nd rounder Bloodline Glenn Robinson Jr. to get on that depth chart and possibly Andrew Wiggins who is more of a three out the gate.

The small forward is a toss up between both Thad-Ex and energizer bunny Corey Brewer. They will both give way to Wiggins maybe at the back end of the 2014-15 season or next season. This is the deepest slot on the roster with shooting guard as 2013 1st rounder Shabazz Muhammad tries to work himself into minutes.

The front court is led by the heavily underrated Nikloa Pekovic of Montenegro for those not in the know. Watch former Cavs and 2013 #1 overall pick Anthony Bennett to get major minutes as a stretch 4 on that front line. Ronny Turiaf will help Pekovic along with former Jazz "Big"Kyrylo Fesenko of the Ukraine.

Can the 'Wolves loaded at the SG and SF make moves in the northwest division with a talented Jazz team possibly in front of them?
