The Denver Nuggets had a disappointing 2013-14 but then you look at the season-ending injuries and that tells the tale and the truth. They should be better in 2014-15 and they are led by Kenneth "MAN-imal" Faried and Ty Lawson. Those two if they stay healthy can lead the Nugs on a nice run and a "Fight or Larry" berth.

Nugs lead man Brian Shaw is one of the best at developing talent in the Logo and Russian Timofey Mozgov and Quincy Miller have made huge strides as the lights are starting to come on. Can the Nugs stay closer to the Rip City Blazers and OKC Thunder than hanging with the T'Wolves and Jazz is a huge unknown for them heading into the season.

#MileHighNUGS 2014-15 Vitals

Franchise Player (s): the MAN-imal, Law Dawg Lawson,

Building Blocks: Arron Affalo, Wilson Chandler, Timofey Mozgov, Quincy Miller, Danillo Gallinari, Gary Harris

Top Pepsi Bottle Vendor (Top Nugs Rookie): Gary Harris

Sleeper Player (s): Quincy Miller has finally emerged with all that talent and a game like Rashard Lewis with more bounce. His development has been solid. Big Timofey Mozgov was at times dominant in the painted area and you should see even more of that in 2014-15. Do not forget about Danillo Gallinari as he is some two seasons off of an ACL injury and he can flat out play.

Trade Piece (s): Maybe Wilson Chandler or even Darrell Arthur as the Nugs have some pieces maybe coveted for a contender at the deadline. Their current roster though is built to get into winning time if everyone stays healthy.

#MileHighNUGS 2014-15 Outlook 3rd in the Northwest

The point guards are led by former UNC star Ty Lawson by way of Oak Hill Academy VA.. From end to end to the rim there is no one better or smoother...real talk. The change of pace PG is "the State of Nate" Robinson of the talent-rich "206" Area Code with "Foye Boy" of Nike Basketball playing both slots.

Rookie sniper Gary Harris might be one of the steals of the 2014 draft. Arron Affalo gets his 2nd tour of duty with the Nugs. He is a defensive stopper with a sneaky offensive arsenal.

The small forward run by Wilson Chandler and Quincy Miller gets some added pop from former Cavs SF Alonzo Gee. That will also give Gallinari some more time to get worked back in off the injury.

The front line is big with the aforementioned Mozgov leading the way with Shaqtin' a Fool Captain Javale McGee. Franchise star Faried though makes this unit heading towards special as his motor separates himself from many on almost every night. "Slim Shady" Arthur of Dallas, TX by way of Phog Allen is a solid reinforcement.

There is no denying the talent on that Nugs Roster and if they all stay healthy lookout as they could challenge the Rip City Blazers for the 2nd slot in the northwest.
