The Portland Trailblazers had an amazing 2013-14 as the biggest question was the Reinforcements in place to help out that 1st unit that is five-star? That question was yes as 3year to be Point God Damian Lillard went to his first All-Star Game as a Player and did everything but but run drinks.

The Blazers 2014-15 season should be even better as Rip City will be running on the "L-Train" LaMarcus Aldridge. L.A. 12 is Nike Basketball Handle on his Scooby Doos is one of the top 5 front court player in the Logo hands down. The Blazers also have two outstanding players in between the L-Train and Lillard in sniper Wes Matthews Jr. and France National Team stud Nicolas Batum. If the Blazers are to take the necessary steps to get to the elite it will have to come from what's behind the Blazers top four players.

#RipCityBLAZERS 2014-15 Vitals

Franchise Player (s): L-Train, Dame Lillard

Building Blocks: Wes Matthews, Nicolas Batum, Robin Lopez, Will Barton, C.J. McCollum, T-Rob

Top Free Agent pick-up: Steve Blake

Top Rose Garden Rookie: N/A

Sleeper Player (s): McCollum who was injured on and off last season should provide some much-needed firepower behind Dame at the PG. Steve Blake is  Rip City fan favorite and he can play and was a huge pick up as the Blazers are making a run for the top four seeds in the west.

Trade Piece (s): Meyers Leonard the "Big" from Illinois looks like a poor man's Joel Pryzbilla and the Blazers have to be wondering will the lights ever come on. He would be a nice trade piece for someone looking for a reclamation project.

#RipCityBLAZERS 2014-15 Outlook 2nd in the Northwest

As long as Dame Lillard is healthy the Blazers have a legitimate shot at making serious noise in the west. CJ McCollum and Steve Blake will also share PG duties with Dame and that is a nice depth chart for Rip City at the PG.

Wes Matthews is a two-way player and most players will tell you he is a gamer as he will slow your Star sniper down and quietly get 20 with the Spalding money ball rack in his back pocket. Former Memphis star Will Barton came on last season and is a nice piece on that 2nd unit. Watch for Allen Crabbe from Cal a 2013 pick who has ideal size for an Logo sniper.

Nic Batum for $48 million is a bang for your buck as he and Matthews are defense first this is the reason why the Blazers have a shot on any night as they play "D" in both half court and in transition.  If your thinking about getting a chip it will have to start on that end. Dorrell Wright can stretch the floor and he is also a solid defender.

The front court starts and ends with the L-Train and legit "Fight for Mo" Candidate and that would be the NBA M.V.P. Trophy names after Maurice Podloff. Robin Lopez, Victor Claver, and free agent pick up Chris the "Kamanator" Kaman playing the 5 keeps L-Train flourishing at his natural slot PF the 4.

All the pieces are there and lead man Terry Stotts and GM Neil Olshey have done quite the job as hitting a grand slam with Lillard from Weber State set them up for the next ten seasons. Can Rip City challenge the Thunder for #1 in the northwest?
