He played some 14 seasons in the Logo and then coached and played under the "Zen Master" Phil Jackson. His name has been mentioned for quite sometime as the next one in line to man a bench in the Logo. Former University of California at Santa Barbara Guacho Alum Brian Shaw, from East Bay, will be hired as the next Coach for the Denver Nuggets per sources.

The Nuggets won 56 games last season and are loaded with Talent even without Shooting Guard Andre Iguodala leaving the nest. It will be interesting to see what Shaw's Staff looks like and what kind of system they will run in Denver since Shaw was an assistant under the Triangle for years. He was also a leading candidate for the BK Nets Job until Jason Kidd stepped in and wowed the Nets and Billy King to get that Gig. Shaw will leave "Gold Swagger" the Indiana Pacers as Lead Assistant to take over the Nugs.

The Memphis Grizzlies name six-year assistant of the Grizz Dave Joerger who takes over from his former boss Lionel Hollins who still has not found employment. The Grizz did a smoke screen by talking to former Nugs Lead Man George Karl, current Bulls Assistant Ed Pinckney, and ex-Sins Coach Alvin Gentry. What baffles me is Hollins led the Grizz to the Western Finals, compiled a 196-155 Record then begged for his job to no avail. I know the Logo is moving towards number crunching and analytical folks but really Grizz. Mr. Joerger and Company better come out the gate swinging or there will be questions, comments, and concerns in abundance.
