The Mets might not be in he race as we go to press but you can go ahead and pencil in Mets RHP and Rook Matt Harvey as NL Rookie of the Year as he mowed down the Phils on a short day of work Only throwing 72 pitches Harvey goes six strong innings allowing just two hits no ducks to cross the dish and striking out six with a free pass offered.

$120 Million worth of Amazins' Hot Corner and the pride of Norfolk Vee-Aaa...David Wright went "Cooperstown" N.Y. on Phightin' Phils Pitching going 4 for 5 with 2 runs scored and two ribbies with a side of Solo Shot. The Phils 1 through four hitters of J-Roll, Chase, Young, and Ryan went a combined 4 for 15 with four K's as they left three ducks on the pond.

The Mets have a plethora of Young Arms led by Harvey as Zach Wheeler is hot on his heels as the #2 Arm behind Harvey. At 30-42 they should be in the middle of the NL East if they can keep getting good starting pitching and timely hitting especially from Amazins' Star Hot Corner David Wright. Phils' Starter LHP John Lanaan was chased after five innings giving up six runs on eight hits.
