Jared Weaver went vintage from the bump as the Halos go into the "D" and sweep the AL Central leading Tigers. Weaver goes seven innings and allows one run on four hits while striking out six. He left with the score tied at seven as he didn't figure into the decision. The Tigers Pitcher Doug Fister matched Weaver by going seven strong allowing one run on seven hits while striking out four. Of all Angels Players "El Hombre" Halos First Baseman and Designated-Hitter Albert Pujols gets the game-winning RBI as he comes through in the clutch.

Thew Halos sweep the Tigers in the three game set and maybe this will get the Halos going into the right direction. They scored 24 runs to the Tigers eight runs in the three games as the Tigers now fall to 42-35 and only 2 1/2 games up on the Terry Francona led Tribe of C-Town. The Halos on the other hand are ten games back of the Rangers and  91/2 behind the Athletics. It's still early as we enter the halfway point of the Show.

Tigers Bats were eerily silent today and they put up runs in games one and two but couldn't get anything going today. The Tigers 1-4 Hitters of Jackson, Hunter, Fielder, and Miggy combined to go 1 for 16 with no runs scored and one free pass. Halos All-Star CF Mike Trout led the Halos with a 4 for 5 day and one run scored.

Up next the Tigers will travel to Tampa and the Halos fall into "Stros Nation for three.
