The Pittsburgh Pirates are winning game scoring out of the Motel for the first time in a long time and they are gunning for the NL East Crown for the 1st time since those Skip Leyland, Bream, Lind,  Bonds, Van Slyke, Drabek, and Bonilla Days and not that Pirates Nation needs to be reminded of those Teams.

Well just in case your counting if Luck is on the Pirates Side or they just are playing lights out baseball the 3rd game of the Series went extra innings and the Pirates put up four only to see the Halos almost comeback and win but coming up short scoring three runs. The Pirates get the and beat the Halos 10-9 on Sunday and outscore the Angels 21 to 12 in the three game set.

Both Teams used five pitchers as the Buccos pounded out 13 hits to the Angels nine hits. The Pirates were down 6-3 in the top half of the ninth and scored three to tie the game. The Buccos now are a season-high 16 games over .500 at 46-30 and just a game and a half behind the Redbirds in the NL East as they have jumped the Reds. The Angels fall to 33-43 and some 10 1.2 games back of the AL West leading Rangers and that is a Tale of Two Ball Clubs. As Addition by subtraction from your Rival means nothing anymore but that is a story for another day.
