Reds RHP Ryan Latos saves the trip for the Reds as they went to the "Valley of the Sun" and got caught scuffling vs the NL West leading Diamondbacks. Latos went 7 2/3 allowed six hits and one run and sent some 13 D-Backs bat to the Hitting Cage to work on a few Hitting Mechanics.

The Reds got the message early as they came right out the Clubhouse and scored a crooked three in the first and added one in the second then let Latos do his thing improving to 7-1 on the season. Red Legs CF and Korean Import Shin Soo-Choo led the game off with a Solo Shot. Then MLB's #1 Twitter Handle @DatDudeBP..Reds Second Baseman Brandon Phillips went two-run bomb in the 1st as well. D-Backs Starter Randall Delgado went five allowing four runs on six hits but Two Bombs as he settled down somewhat after that shaky first inning.

The Red Legs came in the four game set 44-29 in 2nd place in the NL Central. They leave Phoenix International at 45-32 and in 3rd place in the NL Central as the Buccos swept the Halos in Orange County, Cali. and moved into 2nd place in the NL Central. The D-Backs are 41-34 and stay three full games ahead of the 2nd place Gigantes of #OrangeOctober.
