The New York Yankees host the L.A. Dodgers in their 1st visit ever to Yankee Stadium in in the 1st of a Twin Bill Pinstripes OF Ichiro Suzuki and Pitcher Hiroki Kuroda prove to be too much for the Boys in Blue by beating the Dodgers 6-4.

Kuroda pitched out of a 4th inning jam of Ducks on the 2nd and 3rd and no one out and didn't surrender a run. That spurred him onto finish the day vs the Dodgers giving up two runs on eight hits while striking out two. His counterpart in Korean Hyun-Jin Ryu went six innings giving up three runs on five hits including a solo shot to Ichiro Suzuki in the bottom half of the sixth.

Ichiro led the Yanks Charge going 3 for 4 scoring two runs and knocking in three. Dodgers Shortstop Hanley Ramirez fresh off of the Disabled List went 4 for 4 scoring twice and knocking in two. Ramirez clocked Two Run Bomb in the top half of the 8th off of Yanks RHP Mike Claiborne. Dodgers Rookie sensation Yasiel Puig went 2 for 5 scoring once. The Bombers move top 39-31 and the Dodgers fall to 29-40 and that is not good for Skip Don Mattingly's Job Security.

Game 2 of the Twin Bill starts at 7:05pm ET at Yankee Stadium...LAD Capuano (1-4) vs NYY Hughes (3-5)
