The talk around the Show when the Braves pulled off the signing both Upton Boyz was that the Braves will win the NL East and they have a legit shot at getting that coveted Fall Classic Parade and Trophy. Those same people also thought the Upton's, Jason Heyward, and Freddie Freeman would carry the Braves offensively. They were right there also but it's 25% of that equation that's getting it done at the dish all around for the Braves.

Braves First Baseman Freddie Freeman has been on fire in 2K13 and the Braves Justin Upton did start out hitting the Big Fly like a Everyday Price Giveaway but no one was consistently hitting for average or even raking. Enter Freeman who leads the Braves in Average, Ribbies, fifth in Bombs, and second in extra-base hits. He has been a huge reason why the Braves as we go to press are up seven full games ahead of the Phils and Nats. The Power Numbers haven't been there for Freeman but is run production and hitting where he has been getting pitched as improved immensely.

Freeman's Vitals through June 17, 2013 at the Dish:

58 Gms .323 Avg 7 HR 48 RBI 33 Runs 73 Hits 21 XBH 109 Total Bases

Freeman's Average is 5th on the Senior Circuit and his RBI Total is tied for 7th. Among First Baseman in the NL is first in Average, third in RBI's, and 5th in Runs Scored while 7th in Extra Base Hits. When the other Big Boppers like the Upton Boyz, Heyward, and McCann join the Hitting Parade with Freeman the Braves should have no problem clinching the NL East by Labor Day...real talk!
