The Chicago Bulls surprised some a little but they definitely had their "Peepers" set on two position of need in the draft and that was the Bulls Front Line. With players like Jo Knows, C-Booz 5, Luuuuuuuuol, the TAJmanian Devil, and the See Red Butler moving to the Big Guard Slot the Bulls needed an influx of youth.

2013 See Red NBA Draft Picks

SF Tony Snell 6'7" 200 el bees Reach 8'10" Wingspan 6'11"

Snell was a dynamic Small Forward for the Lobos of New Mexico as led them to a 2012-13 #2 Seed in the 2013 NCAA Tourney. Former Hoosier Great and then Lobo Lead Man Steve Alford recruited Snell out of Riverside California High School where he also got a close look at current Spurs Small Forward Kawhi Leonard who was Snell's HS Teammate. Snell is an Athletic Wing that is a defender first which tells what the Bulls had in mind. Now it's the NBA Trend as Athletic Wings to defend all those Versatile Players from the Shooting Guard to the "Stretch 4". Snell can also shoot it from Deep as he shot just under 40% from the Field for the Lobos last season. He also adds Insurance as the Bulls may still be shopping All-Star SF Luol Deng.

PF Erik Murphy 6'10" 240 el bees Reach 9' Wingspan 6'10.5"

Murphy had a quiet but excellent career for Billy Ball in the Swamp. He is a prototype as far as steeping out on the perimeter and knocking down a Money Ball. Excellent Pick and Roll and Pop player. He should give the Bulls a lot of flexibility and keep the floor spread. Reminds me of former Gator now longtime Spur PF Matt "Strawberry Rifle" Bonner. He should give the Bulls much-needed help on the front line at the Power Forward and 2nd unit.

Overview the Bulls did what they sought out to do and getting quality depth at the small forward and power forward. Moving Jimmy Butler to the Two-Guard is an excellent move as the Bulls might still be shopping Luol Deng.

Overall Grade: B
