The St. Louis Cardinals couldn't have scripted a better start as they had solved the Giants ace Madison Bumgarner hanging three runs on him through the first four innings. The problem was Redbirds ace Adam Wainright held his end of the bargain up but the Cards pen didn't.

The Redbirds scored first on a Jon Jay two-bagger in the 3rd scoring Tony Cruz making it 1-0 St. Louis. The Giants in their half of the 3rd gets a Joe Panik moon shot down the right field line just fair for a two-run blast making it 2-1 San Fran.

The Redbirds came right back on "Bum" in the 4th and gets solo HR's from both Matt Adams and Tony Cruz making it 3-2 Redbirds and "Bum" stuff wasn't the same stuff he has carried out of the Motel on the road.

"Waino" day was done going seven allowing those early two runs on just four hits as he struck out seven. He unfortunately would figure into a No-Decision as the Redbirds pen implodes.

Redbirds reliever Pat Neshek replacing "Waino" in the 8th gives up a game-tying solo blast to the first hitter he sees in Gigantes first baseman Michael Morse tying the game at 3-3.

In the 9th the Redbirds were right there ready to take the series back to the 'Lou as Giants captain save-a-game Santiago Casilla gave up two singles and a walk. Jeremy Affedlt replaced Casillas which would be the move of the contest as he gets Redbirds pinch-hitter Oscar Tavares on a come backer to end the Redbirds half of the 9th.

In the bottom half of the 9th then Redbirds went with 2013 hero Michael Wacha as he got himself into trouble with a single to "Panda Smash" Sandoval and a walk to Brandon Belt. That set the stage for Giants LF Travis Ishikawa on a 2-0 green light to park Wacha's slide piece into San Fran Hardball Lore for a three-run walk-off into the right field seats.

Gigantes win 6-3 as "Bum" was names NLCS M.V.P. with sparkling numbers throughout...

360 Degrees...the Giants won the Series in 2010 and 2012 and it's another even year 2014...go figure!
