The Northwest division the last few years has been owned and operated under the Oklahoma City Thunder dba here at Bluedude Sportstalk under the award-winning "Regulators Report OKC"! They needed to stay healthy for the 82-game trek and that will not happen.

The KD7 from Nike Basketball will not takeoff for its maiden flight later this month as it is in the OKC Hanger at least through December 2014. This means perennial All-Star Point God Russell Westbrook of "Become Legendary" Sneaker Brand has to carry the load. It is imperative though he gets major assistance from Serge Ibaka on down. Can OKC win the Northwest again fending off both the Rip City Blazers and Mile High Nugs among others?

#RegulatorsReportOKC 2014-15 Vitals

Franchise Piece (s): @kdTREY5, @RussWest44, Nick Collison

Building Blocks: "Air Congo" Ibaka, Jeremy Lamb, Reggie Jackson, Steven Adams, Mitch McGary

KD's Southern Cuisines top waiter (Thunder's top rookie): Mitch McGary

Top Free Agent: Anthony Morrow

Sleeper (s): Anthony Morrow is solid as he is a wing defender who can guard the 2 and 3 and he spreads the offensive floor with his shooting. The Thunder need shooters to off set the double and pinch and recovers KD and Russ see on a nightly basis.

Trade Piece (s): The Thunder is set in stone and they really do not have any pieces at a glance but everyone is tradeable on that roster except your franchise-type pieces. Kendrick Perkins maybe as Steven Adams emerges in his 2nd season.

#RegulatorsReportOKC 2014-15 Outlook 1st in the Northwest (Top 4 in the West)

The Thunder struggled last season without Westbrook now they will get no KD and that has teams salivating at the chance to knocks off the Thunder while KD is out. Westbrook will need Reggie Jackson and Jeremy Lam to help carry the offensive load. Look for Jackson to run a lot of the PG and Russ to move off the Spalding orange to scoring guard.

The Wing is solid as look for Andre Roberson and Perry Jones III to get major minutes. Jones III out of Texas HS Basketball powerhouse Duncanville, TX HS has to start living up to his billing. Morrow who will be between the sniper and wing now becomes even more important. Thunder GM Sam Presti was right on not seeing the future but getting Morrow to take minutes of the M.V.P. anyway.

That front line should be better with the emergence of 2nd year "Big" Steven Adams. His presence and improvement will eventually move "Perk" to the bench. Ibaka though is the #2 piece with KD out and he doesn't need to play with an out of body experience but just get to his locations on offense and play that solid "D" he is known for.

Rook Mitch McGary will have to wait as well as he is out with a broken foot. The former Brewster Academy NH Alum by way of the Maize & Blue was a nice pick up in the 2014 NBA draft as OKC tries to address their lack of a low-post presence which is spelling gloom and doom in winning time.

Can OKC get out of the Northwest division in 1st and then do damage in the playoffs as the Clips, Spurs, Blazers, and Warriors and even the Suns are all tough outs!

Note: Nick Collison is a Franchise Piece as he and KD along with Russ came over from the Seattle Supersonics so slow your roll and smell with the Bluedude is cookin'!
