The New York Yankees after getting hit by the Amazins' Fat-Pitch Softball Team in the Bronx Zoo losing both games took care of Business at Citi Field. It was Masahiro Tanaka who banked the Mets last night and on Thursday Night it was a combo of Yanks Starter Chase Whitley, Dellin Betances, Adam Warren, and David Robertson playing Yanks Captain Save-A-Game.

The Mets Hitters left all that Offense back at the Bronx Zoo as it was Betances that was most impressive. He relived Starter Whitley and threw 2 1/3 innings of Six Strike Out Hardball. At 6-8 and all over the Bump throwing the "Express" in Upwards of 97 mph and a Slide Piece moving all over in the high 80s he was virtually unstoppable. The Yanks lone run came on a Alfonso Soriano Double scoring Bombers Back Stop Brian McCann in the top half of the 7th.

Amazins' Starter Jacob de Grom looking and throwing like the Halos Ace Jered Weaver with the same results went a strong seven allowing just four hits and a run while walking two and striking out six. The Mets Pen held up as they had a chance with runners on the corners with two outs and Mets Captain and Hot Corner David Wright at the dish as he grounds out to the Shortstop to end that 8th inning rally.

Yanks move to 21-19 while the Amazins' fall to 19-21as they split the "Subway Series" 2-2...
