The Cincinnati Reds started the day 5.5 back of the NL Central Leading Brew Crew and four back of the 2nd place Redbirds. The Cards came in five over at 26-21 and just 2.5 games back of the "Piwowarzy". This Three-Piece is crucial for both as the Reds try to get over the .500 mark and start heading north in the Central.

Behind a huge Three-Run Tater from Reds Hot Corner Todd Frazier in the 3rd and a Solo Shot in the 6th from Reds Back Stop Devin Mesacaro the Reds get just enough to cross the dish to beat Redbirds Starter Shelby Miller. Miller went five giving up four walking one while striking out five. He left with the score 4-2 Reds.

Reds Starter Homer Bailey gets the "W" as he goes six allowing three runs on eight hits walking two  and striking out four. Allen Craig of the Cards kept them it going 2 for 4 with two ribbies. Aroldis Chapman came in the 9th to slam the door on the Cards striking out one.

The Red Legs move to 22-24 while the Cards fall to 26-22 in the NL Central...
