The Chicago Blackhawks came out the aggressor as the Kings made the adjustments midway through Period One to cause some friction. In the end it was too much Hawks Hockey and Hockey Discipline that put the Hawks up 1-0 in the Best of Seven Western Conference Finals.

The Hawks got on the board on a Brandon Saad Tip-In with just over five minutes remaining in Period One to take a 1-0 lead. The Hawks then struck ion the 2nd as Captain Serious gets a little help from a Kings Defender but it was ruled Goalie Interference as that score was called back. Not even a minute and some change later the Kings get on the board on a Tyler Toffoli Tip-In to make it 1-1. That score held up until a little over midway through the 2nd D.K. gets a Slapper by Mr. Quick for a Hawks 2-1 lead as we head into the 3rd.

Marian Mossa then broke out starting a 30-1 as he left it for Jhonny Oduya who left it set up a more than ready Jonathan Toews for a Wrister to make it 3-1 and that was your Game one...Hawks 3 Kings 1 Final.

Hawks Net Minder Corey "Craw-Dad" Crawford stopped 25 of 26 shots and Quick 17 of 20 shots. With only four penalties in the game the game was played extremely well as the Kings had some chances and there will be plenty of adjustments going on for Game 2 scheduled for Wednesday May 21st.  Kings nearly out shot the Hawks Game Total of 20 in the 2nd with some 17 SOG.
