The Cincinnati Red Legs have put themselves in a situation some teams in the NL West are use to seeing. That is seeing both Dodgers Star Pitchers Zack Greinke and Clayton Kershaw in consecutive days. Now with Dodgers Hyun-Jin Ryu throwing almost a "Perfect" last night the Red Legs didn't fare too well vs the "Greink-ster"!

The Dodger CF Andre Ethier started off the Dodgers scoring with a Solo Tater in the bottom half of the 2nd for a Dodgers 1-0 lead.  Then with the Ducks all over the pond in the bottom half of the 4th  Ethier again delivers with a Three-Run Triple as the "Boys in Blue" move to a commanding 4-0 lead. That's when Zack Greinke took over as the Dodgers #2 Man went 7 2/3 innings allowing a run-scoring single in the 5th and a Two-Run Bomb in the 8th to Red Legs Back Stop Devin Mesoraco as the Dodgers by then were up 6-3. Greinke was pulled as Set-Up Man J.P. Howell and Dodgers Captain Save-A-Game Kenley Jansen (16th saves) closed the door on the Red Legs.

Red Legs Starter Alfredo Simon went just 3 2/3 innings allowing five runs on five hits walking four and striking out two. Red Legs First Baseman David Lutz had two hits while Ethier went 2 for 4 with two runs scored, a Three-Bagger, and a Solo HR for Dodger Blue.

Dodgers move to 29-24 2nd in the NL West  while the Red Legs fall to 22-28 and 4th in the NL Central.
