The Kansas City Royals have quietly stayed in the middle of the AL Central Race as their Pitching has come full circle led by Ex-Rays RHP and Royals Ace James Shields. The Baltimore Orioles on Saturday got a taste of the Royals newest Arm in the Rotation Danny Duffy and didn't fare very well.

Duffy and the Royals Pitching Staff combined to three hit the O's through nine as the Royals just needed a run and got it. "Duff" went seven strong giving up just two hits and striking out two walking zero and nothing crossed the dish. The Royals Offense was provided by Billy Butler on his run-scoring Single scoring Royals Lead-Off Hitter Nori Aoki.

The O's Starter Bud Norris also was on his game with no Run Support. He went 7 1/3 innings giving up four hits walking one and striking out one with that run given up in Inning One. Royals Captain Save-A-Game Greg Holland picks up save #11 against 12 chances. I-70 Missouri Pro Hardball moves to the .500 mark at 21-21 as the O's fall to 22-19 still atop the AL East tied with the Bronx Bombers.
