The Toronto Blue Jays 10-Game Win Streak was halted yesterday as the Royals beat the Blue Birds 6-1. The 'Jays though leading the AL East as we go to press jumped right back into the saddle on Saturday jumping all over Royals Pitching.

Behind a Jose Bats Double, an Adam Lind single, a ground-rule double by Juan Francisco, Jose Reyes single, a Melky Cabrera Single, and three walks the 'Jays put seven runs up batting around the order once. That chased Royals Starter Aaron Brooks as his line was atrocious at five hits, seven runs, and three walks plus Cabrera hit by a pitch in just 2/3 of an inning.

That was all 'Jays Starter Marcus Stroman would need as he went six strong scattering five hits and allowing a run striking out six with no walks. Jose Bautista dba "Jose Bats" was 2 for 3 with two runs scored. As it was the bottom half of the 'Jays Order that did the damage. Adam Lind was 3 for 5 with four runs scored, Brett Lawrie 2 for 3 with three ribbies, and Juan Francisco 3 for 4 with four ribbies.

The 'Jays with the"W" moves to 33-24 which is 2.5 games ahead of the Bombers for first place in the AL East. The Royals fall to 26-29 tied for third in the AL Central..
