Halos RHP Matt Shoemaker got plenty of Offense behind him as one Albert Pujols dba "El Hombre" in Southern Cal might be back to his old self in 2014. Pujols took Rays Ace David Price in Inning One for a Solo Bomb to male the score 1-0 Angels. The Angels score one more in the 3rd and three more in the 4th as Price through four innings of work had given up five runs making it 5-0 Halos after four.

The Rays got on the board in the top half of the 7th behind a Kevin Kiermaier Two-Run Tater off of Halos Middle Man Mike Morin. LAA struck back in their half of the 7th as "El Hombre" Pujols goes Solo Shot to make it 6-2 and that would cap the scoring for a 6-2 Angels win. Angels Starter Matt Shoemaker went six giving up just a run on two hits while walking three and striking out six. Price through six gave up eleven hits and six runs as he struck out seven Halos Hitters.

The Angels (24-19) right there behind the AL West leading Athletics by just 3.5 games. The Rays after a horrible Motel Swing plays Bottom Feeder in the AL East at 19-26 but that is just 5.5 games off the Pinstripes for 1st in the East.
