Braves Starter Aaron Harang helped himself early as his RBI-Single in the 2nd inning put the Braves out in front of the Cardinals 1-0. That would be all unfortunately for Harang and the Braves as the Redbirds countered with a Sac-Fly in the 4th and scored two runs in the 6th one on a Braves Throwing Error and the other an RBI-Single. That put the Redbirds up 3-1 and they go onto win scoring another run in the 7th 4-1.

Redbirds Starter Shelby Miller went only allowed a run in seven innings while giving up five hits and striking pout seven. Harang who helped his own case early got nothing from that Braves Line Up after that as he went six giving up three runs and six hits as he sent seven Redbirds back to the bench with K's. Redbirds Second Baseman Kolten Wong was 2 for 4 scoring two runs. Braves Shortstop Adrelton Simmons led the Braves Hitting Attack or lack there of one going 3 for 3 scoring a run.

The Braves now have to win Sunday to avoid the Sweep as they fall to 22-19 with the Redbirds moving to 23-20...
