Basketball is not Bio Mechanical Engineering...did I spell that right? It's Basketball in the Logo 94x 50 with 10 Foot high Goals and 24-second shot clocks. It's 5 on 5 and in the Logo one or even two scorers will get you to the "Fight 4 Larry" as you at least need a Three-Piece ask Mike, Pip, and Dennis...or Dunc, TP9, and Manu...it's that simple.
Well in Game 3 the Thunder gets a huge lift as "Air Congo" dba Serge Ibaka was back and making himself known again around the Goal. See when they say "Rim Protector" is means two things..Blocking Shots or altering the Shots as each as just as effective as the other one and together they become a force. Ibaka had 4 blocks and I counted 8 more shots he altered and that is 24 potential points off the board. He also added 15 points and grabbed seven boards as you see why the Thunder decided to let Harden walk and pay Ibaka (4-yrs $49 million starting in the 2013-14 season) making him the 3rd wheel. Add Russ 26 points, eight boards, and seven assists with KD's 25 points and ten boards (16-38 FG combined) with a 4th wheel Reggie Jackson dropping 15...we have 2-1 Spurs in the 2013-14 W.C.F..
The Spurs one didn't get after it like I thought they would and that had a lot to do with OKC and their intensity coming at San Antonio at both ends of the hardwood. I know this the Spurs were out rebounded 52-36 and they had 16 turnovers and that cannot happen this late in the game with that Larry O'Brien and SHAM-PAG-NA along with the Parade Route potentially waiting in the wings. Manu Ginoboli is straight Margarine as he led one of three Spurs Players in double figures with 23 points including 6 for 9 from the Arc. A Top 5 Clutch Player in the World Manu is no doubt! Dunc added 16 points and grabbed eight boards with Kawhi dropping 10.
Now we will get Game 4 back in Thunder Alley and can OKC hold serve at home and how will Ibaka's Calf Injury hold up through games 3 and 4? The Spurs Big Three have been here too many times and we will see a different effort and team on Tuesday Night!
