The Washington Nationals grab the Rubber Game from the New York Mets as the Amazins' started off the week taking the fist two of four in the Subway Series" vs the Yanks only to lose their next four out of five ballgames.

It was Nats RHP Jordan Zimmerman going six innings allowing eight hits and three runs as he gets just enough run support from the Nats Line Up. Washington Back Stop Wilson Ramos went 2 for 3 with four Ribbies and a run scored to lead the Nats who had a dozen hits off Mets Pitching. Mets Starter Zack Wheeler went six giving up five runs on six hits walking two and striking out five and giving up a Solo Job to the Nats Star SS Ian Desmond in the 7th. The Mets Catcher Juan Centeno was 2 for 4 with two Ribbies leading the Amazins' Offense.

With the "W" Washington is just a 1/2 game back of the NL East leading Atlanta Braves. The Mets having a 2-5 week moves just 3.5 games back of the Braves but three games sunder the .500 mark!
