Cowboys unquestioned leader Backer Sean Lee of Linebacker U "Happy Valley" Pennsylvania is on Injured reserve again as he suffers a Torn ACL in OTA's yesterday in Cowboys Camp. The Cowboys Contract they had gave Lee last season had heavy Injury Incentives and this will be the 3rd straight season Lee has missed half or most of a Season. Lee's Injury History to date:

2010: Misses Weeks 14-17 Shoulder Contusion played 14 gms

2011: from Week 9-17 Wrist Injury played 15 gms

2012: Weeks 8-17 Toe Injury played 6 gms

2013: Weeks 12-17 Hamstring/Neck played 11 gms

Lee signed a 6-yr $42 Million deal last season as its kicks in this season. He has Signing Bonus of $2 million and a Base Salary of $750K in 2014 with a Cap Hit of $3.7 Million which equated to $13.5 million in Dead Money*. The Contract includes a $4.75 Million Restructure  as he will receive a $1.5 million Bonus if he plays 80% of his games between 2013-14..and that will not happen.

*Dead Money: Is when a player receives a signing bonus, whether it be on a new contract or a restructure, that money is paid out immediately to the player. For Salary Cap accounting purposes it is prorated out over the remaining years on that contract but cannot be prorated out for more than five years.

Now the 'Boys will move on as they were going to pick Ohio State Backer Ryan Shazier at #16 in the 2014 NFL Draft as they were reportedly on the phone with him as the Steelers chimed in and grabbed him at #15. Now that Pick and Draft Strategy was right on for the 'Boys and Jerry and Stephen which now looms even bigger. Inside Backer Bruce Carter (2011 2nd Rd Pick #40 overall for Cowboys from UNC and former UNC Coach Butch Davis) will take over for Lee on the Defensive Calls most likely as luckily for the 'Boys they have plenty of time to grab more Backers to see what works.

360 Degrees...word around the Cowboys Water Cooler is that Shazier would have been in competition to take Carter's Gig...now how about them Stars on the Helmet!
