Colorado Rockies Starter Juan Nicasio moves to 5-2 as he shuts down the Braves in the Chop Shop 3-1. He went six allowing not a Run on two hist while he struck out five walking four. He also had some Run Support via the long Ball as the Braves struggled connecting on Nicasio's Repertoire.

It was Rockies Right Fielder Michael Cuddyer Solo Bomb in the 2nd and Troy "Tulo" Tulowitzki's Solo Shot in the 6th along with another run in the 7th that helped Nicasio pick up his 5th win in 2014. Braves Starter Mike Minor had both Bombs put on his Tab as he went 6 1/3 innings allowing three runs on four hits as he struck out six. The Braves only run came on a Justin Upton Sac-Fly scoring Big Bro B.J. in the bottom of the 8th.

The Rox move to 27-22 and that is good for 2nd in the NL West behind the Giants and ahead of Dodger Blue. The Braves fall to 27-21 as they still lead the Nats in the NL East by just two games.
