The Canadiens already knew Net Minder Carey Price would be done for the remainder of the Eastern Conference Finals and that doesn't bode well for the Habs moving forward in their series with the New York Rangers. In turn the Blue Shirts have Rick Nash getting Points...Columbus Blue Jacket Rick Nash and Team Canada National Team Rick Nash...I know what your thinking. Then you add all those nice pieces the Blue Shirts Brass has assembled around Sweden Net Minder Henrik Lundqvist...Blue Shirts > Knickerbockers all day everyday!

Behind a wild fist frame where three goals were scored and two for the Visiting Team the Habs had a chance. The 3rd goal to break up the 1-1 tie by Rangers Rick Nash with just over a minute remaining in frame one was the back breaker for the Canadiens. Lundqvist settled in like only the Swedish National Team Net Minder can and stopped 27 shots as 1 of the 14 SOG was in the first frame. The Rangers unfortunately for the Habs have that look and that look is worthy of a "Fight 4 Lord Stanley" Appearance.

The Habs Net Minder Dustin Tokarski stopped 27 of 30 shots as he did the best job he could do and that was gibe his squad a chance to get a game #2 "W". It's a tall order trying to beat one of the best Net Minders in the World and now you have to win the next 4 out of 5 which can be done but who are you fooling. The Habs 0 for 4 on the Power Play must capitalize on playing with an Extra Man versus Lundqvist or they have no real shot. The Blue Shirts were 1 for 3 on the Power Play as Martin St. Louis hit the Habs in the 2nd frame to put them up 3-1 and that would be the final score.

The Habs now must go into a rocking out of control World's Most Famous Arena "New MSG" and run off two straight. It could happen that's why the play the game but Canadiens good luck with that #BecauseItsTheCup
