Pure dominance as the L.A. Kings came out flying and on this night was not going to be denied as they took it right to Team Webbed Feet. The Monarchs jumped all over 20-year-old Ducks Net Minder John Gibson for four goals including the three in frame one.

"Mr. Seventh Game" Kings Winger Justin Williams of course scored the first goal on a backhand just five minutes into the game. Four minutes later Jeff Carter joined the Party on a backhand. Mike Richards then ended the scoring in period one with a tip-in with just under five minutes to go. The Ducks didn't know what hit them and the 2nd frame was much better.

Two minutes into Period Two Slovenia's Anze Kopitar gets a snap shot on a 2 on 1 past Gibson to make it 4-0 sending Gibson to the Bench. Marian Gaborik lights the lamp with under six minutes to go beating new Ducks Net Minder Jonas Hiller and by then the Fat Lady was sitting by the Kings Bench with a Captain Serious Jonathan Toews Blackhawks Road Jersey on. The Ducks Kyle Palmieri finally get the Ducks on the board as they beat Kings Net Minder Jonathan "the Quickster" Quick only twice in Game 7. Both Teams would add a goal each in the 3rd as the Monarchs advance to see the big bad Indian Head of the Madhouse.

Quick stopped 25 of 27 shots and he will be a tough out as the Hawks have to keep putting the Frozen One on Net to beat him. Another disappointment for the Ducks and when will it end. The Kings came back from down 3-1 to Team Teal in Round 1. They were up 2-0 only to be down 3-2 and came back and won games 6 and 7 vs the Ducks as they are more than battled tested.

Kings will hit the Charter early Saturday Morning as the Hawks will have Home Ice as the four Top Seeds in the West...Team Webbed Feet, Team Teal, the Blue Notes, and the Avs are all fishing!
